What comes after
Grief is not the only thing a family is handed.
Nothing softens the loss itself, and no app pretends to. But within days, the people left behind are asked practical questions they cannot answer — often by an office in another country, in another language.
The answers usually exist. They are on one person’s phone, behind one person’s passcode, in one person’s memory.
- 01Where is the passport copy? And the visa papers, the ID, the documents an embassy or airline asks for first.
- 02Was there insurance? With whom?A policy nobody knows about cannot be claimed by the people it was meant for.
- 03Who do we call? The landlord, the employer, the university, the friend who has the spare key.
- 04Where are the photos and videos?Years of family memories, locked inside a phone no one else can open.
- 05What did they want us to know? The note, the instruction, the thing they always meant to say properly.
Why today
You cannot choose the day.
You can choose what is ready.
Amaran is a private vault for your photos, videos, documents and notes. You decide which folders go to which trusted people — and they receive them only if you stop checking in. Everything you leave unassigned stays private, always.
- Minute 1–4Store what mattersAdd the documents, photos and notes your family would look for first.
- Minute 5–8Choose who gets whatFamily gets the family folder. A friend gets one thing. The rest stays yours.
- Minute 9–10Set your check-inEvery login resets the countdown, and you are reminded before it runs out.
